Using a mp3 player for keeping grip on identity.

Hi everyone,

Are you living in Dubai?
And do you use a mp3 player?
Then we are really interested in the way how you use it.

We are a filmcompany from The Netherlands and we're working on a forthcoming international documentary film about aspects of how and why people use their mp3 players.

Dubai is a cultural melting pot where it can be hard to keep grip on your own identity. Maybe you're an expat from India, Pakistan, Europe or somewhere else who is often using a mp3 player to dream away with music and sounds from your homecountry thinking about that special place? Or maybe you're from Dubai and listen specifically to traditional Arabic music? Or maybe you know people who use a mp3 player like this?

It might be slightly the wrong time to ask this question as answers will be different, its currently Ramadan in Dubai meaning hardly anyone listens to music, they may however use their mp3 player to listen to prayers etc...
