Where in Dubai is Dragon Mart located?

Im not really familiar with the area... but from zayed road, i take the road going to hatta...

just keep on going... then you will see it on the right side.

Its huge! just like a dragon.

i suggest you park somewhere near area D or E.. because theres not much to see from area A-C


operation hours: 9:30am-1:30pm 4:30-10:30pm
not sure if they are open on friday morning tho.

I been there once. I heard about it and went to have a lookie lookie. But it has not officially open and therefore I wasted 50dhs in a cab...
and then another 50dhs to get to CityCentre.....waste of money..
But YES! The whole building is a abstract Dragon. VEry nice. But you have to see it from the side about 500meters away. he he he

I need to look at that place, I heard a lot about it.....if what I heard is true then this place may kill all the other small shops in Naif market, what are they selling there, I heard everything and cheap but the quality is poor. Anybody bought anything there?

Thats what China does. They make alot of cheap stuffs with no consideration of what it might do to other businesess.

from what I heard, Dubai is trying to copy Hong Kong, making this Dragon Mart the center for the chinese business for the region. I also understood that they have their residential complexes beside this mart and you are only allowed to rent there if you are chinese. Dragon Mart (also head) is free to the chinese government for the first 5 years (in rent) but don't know the extent or the crditability of this information.
